BOOTIE Berlin #06 feat. Smith & Smart

It's time for the last BOOTIE Berlin Party in 2009.

This month BOOTIE Berlin unites with the Berlin DJ, Soundsystem & MC-Duo: SMITH & SMART.
We celebrate together the Record-Release Party of their new album: "Beides".
Who is Smith & Smart?
Turntables, two microphones, two Dudes and lots of fun! This is recycled "disco-electro-hip-hop-rock massacre".
Fasten your seat belt and disc-ohhh!
Watch out...in the next few weeks, there will be some re-mixed'n'mashed "Beides"versions, done by our heroes Schmolli, Mashup-Germany, Clive$ter, Marc Johnce, Ed Home, Waumiau and Morgoth, for sure too.

Besides this we have full Pirate & BOOTIE decoration and our maskot "HOOKIE" is partying again with us.
And don't forget our free BOOTIE CDs, a special After Midnight Mashup Show and much fun.

Glee Cast & A + D

You know that mashups are finally entering the mainstream consciousness when they become a major plot point in an episode of a network television program. In this case, the kids from the Fox show Glee were challenged to create their own mashup, and it was girls against boys. In the end, both teams were disqualified (watch the "Vitamin D" episode to see why), but in our minds, the boys totally won with their cover of Bon Jovi vs. Usher. Here, we give it the A+D Edit, adding dance beats and re-arranging and extending it, making it suitable for playing out, where it has become an instant Bootie hit.

Club Addiction 3

The guys over at Mashup Industries don't sleep. They're like machines that just consume music and spit it out in different arrangements. I guess they get a lot of help sometimes, as is the case with the 3rd installment in their Club Addiction series - mashups made for (you guessed it) the club, compiled by KrazyBen and Fonky-M. You can download individual tracks or the whole album with artwork <HERE>. Our picks some from GSTN and KrazyBen. I believe that GSTN is the man we know as Gaston, and his track mashes Michael Jackson with Reset for some electro-crunch goodness. KrazyBen gives us Stromae, Eric B & Rakim, and Fake Blood for resulting in a disco carnival bloodbath. Right clicky...
